In order to tackle the problems associated with over-production and over-consumption, namely resource depletion and the enormous amount of waste produced every year among others, Subtle Knotz only produces limited quantities and works on a Pre-Order model basis when stocks sell-out. We only develop two collections with a few styles annually. We believe in quality designs over quantity, and respect for the environment and the Sri Lankan rural women who add a lasting value to the garments. 

We have developed a Pre-Order production model, where we produce garments four times every year based on the quantity of Pre-Orders we receive. This also helps us minimize our carbon impact caused due to transportation by limiting the number of times we transport raw materials and garments every year. In the table below are our four Pre-Order cycles, that specify when you can Pre-Order our garments irrespective of whether you choose an Autumn/Winter style or a Spring/Summer style. Depending on when you place your Pre-Order, you can check the table for the closest delivery date.
